Tasting Notes
"There's a more spiced and toasted oak aroma on the nose than the more fruit-forward 12 year version. The taste reflects these aromas with the whisky offering up a lightly tannic, bittersweet profile. The finish shows just a touch of dark honey on the finish. The mid-palate opens up a bit on further tastings so allow the dram to breathe a bit after pouring. The fruit aromas found are more dark/dried and less fresh and bright. More of a studious expression than its younger counterpart. "
