Russell's Reserve 15 Year Bourbon (2024 Release)

Very tannic and bitter, medicinal cherry vibe

So freaking good. Pours a deep mahogony color. Big nose of toffee and brown butter. Oak and a profound holiday / nutmeg spice. Lasting brown sugar finish thst hangs around

Nose: caramel bomb, deep and rich. Cinnamon sticks in and oak box. Body: medium but rich Palate: caramel, thick deep rich, smoky, another sip with some fruity zest, cinnamon. Vanilla sweetness. Finish: long rich, caramelly, smokey. The finish i love Bote: just an offer from don. Really thr greatest whiskey friend i have. This might be my new all time favorite bourbon over the WLW. This is a nearly flawless bourbon

Very nice flavor profile. Nice and hot on the front end and tasty on the backend. Just the right amount of burn going down

Nose - Some light grape, pear, peanut brittle, caramel, double oak with a deep deep char, not smoky tho. Palate - Some soft vanilla coats the tip of fhe tongue. Brings lots of cinnamon and making spice that goes together with that vanilla. Some nuttiness lingers around. The ethanol is pretty strong though and comes through more as its opened up, which is odd. Finish - Pretty much lots of oil, cinnamon, baking spice. Lots of warmth goes down. Makes it feel hotter than it is.
