Sam Houston 15 Year Kentucky Straight Bourbon

Nose: cherry, brown sugar Palate: oak, more brown sugar Finish: cola, thick and syrupy Bold oaky bourbon - if you like that (I do) then you’ll love this.

For a 15 year and a low ish proof, I would have liked a smoother more flavorful taste.

Nose: funky old raisin, caramelly, smokey, dusty older chocolate. Body: medium to full Palate: follows the nose, rich, caramally, smoky. Finish: pretty long and smokey. Note: michigan 2023.
