Sazerac Rye

Cherry amd smoke on nose, same up front with some rye spiciness. Char and oak and rye in finish.

Update from my review of around two years ago. Now it's carried in my local state ABC store at a decent price point. Russell has had a large price increase, while Rittenhouse has had a slight increase. Clove, sweet and spiced. I need a little ice to tame the spice or clove.

Tastes like a sweet cherry bomb with that characteristic rye finish. Nice, but almost too sweet
