Smoke Wagon Small Batch Straight Bourbon

Oak caramel nose. Thinner mouthfeel, but sweet vanilla and caramel , great spice. Finishes with sweet tobacco, big spice and oak. This is VERY good whiskey. Im really impressed with this pour. Definitely need to keep this spicy delicious bastard in my whiskey locker from here on out!

First pour of this one. Tasted with the Smoke Wagon Uncut/Unfiltered. Good bourbon, but a distant second to the uncut. Shouldn’t deter anyone from buying though, still nice for the price point and I’m guessing there’s some upside.

Nose: typical MGP nose. Rye spice, caramel apple, light vanilla. Corn dust permeates throughout the background. Light clay / bitter apricot. Taste: surprisingly easy sipper. Not much on the front palette but the aftertaste is strong with caramel apple, vanilla, cardamom, cinnamon and light oak. Apple and oak really come to the front if you let it sit in your mouth a little. Rye spice starts to come out after a bit as well as peaches and tobacco. Water intensifies the caramel apple and oak.

Smoky but sweet Burn nose not throat

Rich and floral. Vanilla, carmel sweet palette and great mouth feel. Baking spices. Medium Oak finish with rye spices. I really like this stuff.
