The color makes me wonder if we have some caramel coloring in the mix. Purchased a couple bottles of this for a clarified milk punch. My initial taste and the reviews of others are reassuring signs that this’ll make for a fine punch. Definitely has that raisin wine telltale brandy taste. Still, a bit tannic in general, but only enough that I’d be the one griping about it. I guess this is an attempt to buck the lousy reputation brandy has among young folk. In general, not bad. Especially since most places are limited in brandy options.

Aromas of grape jelly, cinnamon, marmalade, vanilla, toasted coconut, and almond. Flavours include more grape jelly, vanilla, marmalade, and toasted coconut, along with hazelnut and milk chocolate. Rich mouthfeel, and a sweet profile overall. Finish is medium-length.

This is a very light and smooth spirit that is a perfect introduction for the new brandy enthusiast. Mild and easy going, there are no rough edges here. Gently oaky, and with warm caramel notes, this is an ideal brandy for cocktails or holiday punches.
Young nose, with notes of raisins, caramel, soy sauce, toasted grain, leather and pear. Young again on the palate. Sweet and a little peppery, raisin, leather, vanilla, caramel, powdered sugar and orange. Lightly peppery finish. Pretty basic with a bit of heat at the back.
St-Rémy reinvented? It’s an interesting expression, definitely more oaky and fruity, displaying a more youthful character. A little conflicted though… It’s a “premium” product but, also intended for cocktails while carrying a price tag higher than the traditional expressions.
