Oak and cherry nose. Initial palate of caramel apple and cinnamon, with a brown sugar finish. 118 proof but it's much smoother than you'd think.

Very nice, bold flavor

I enjoyed this one. It has a wild flower floral aroma, with that hint of molasses sweetness. The taste has more spice than anticipated and builds in flavor as it rests. Great neat and in the rocks.

Nose: first smell immediately made me think of yogurt covered raisins and buttercream frosting. Second smell reveals a sweet-corn forward vanilla. Brown sugar, citrus, and butterscotch candy are hiding in the background. Palate: chewy caramel candy, herbal orange zest, cherry, leather, and barrel char Finish: spicy finish that has a nice rye quality to it in the back of the palate. Cinnamon, more vanilla and oak influence. Overall I’m excited to see that one of our distilleries here in Texas means business. The other Texas distilleries to me leave me wanting much more. I am excited to see what future releases from them will look like once they have some older barrels.
