Stolichnaya Elit

It may not be cheap, but there are very few vodka's on the market that are as smooth as Stoli Elit. A couple may come close, but out of the 20 or so that I've tried, this one is the smoothest, while also not being bland. The nose, while faint, does have pepper, baking spice and lemongrass. The palate is quite oily, with light grain and citrus notes. The finish is incredibly smooth with no burn whatsoever and with a bit of sweetness to close. At this point, this is my highest rated vodka. It is costly, so is it worth the large increase of Absolut Elyx which is probably my second favorite. Maybe not, but if you want to impress your friends and show them the potential of a sipping vodka, this is the bottle to buy.

Sweet on the palate, slightly oily with some hints of grain and vanilla. Goes down exceptionally smooth.

Drinks like water, very limited ethanol if any with a hint of pepper and a little bit creamy to finish

Stolichnaya Elit vodka has classic aromas of wheat,musk, and baking spices.The entry is smooth with a palate of toffee and vanilla ending with baking spices.Overpriced for it's quality and not as good as Stolichnaya Vodka.

Neutral vodka nose, minor grainy hints, smooth clean crisp body w/ hints of citrus, lemon lime, refreshing, a thin silky mouthfeel, lightly viscous, w/ a smooth clean lightly citrus & crisp finish. Tasted chilled in a sampling tulip.

Not appreciating this as much as my first tasting. Solid starch character but just too hot on the nose and palate.

Smooth and soft with a subtly delicious grain bill.

By far the best vodka out there

Clean, some mid-pallet heat. Subtle citrus notes. Very silky on the tongue.

Outstanding... Very light, easy to drink. Just a scoche of sweet and barely any alcohol presence.
