Sweet, brown sugar, vanilla, i personally get a little nuttiness and definitely some oak from the finishing process. Mouthfeel is smooth and creamy. This would be a 5 at higher proof.

Very impressed, sweet brown sugar and caramel with no rough edges.

Very tasty. Definitely some interesting flavors, nuttiness detected. Also v. smooth. Would drink again and would buy on sight.

Sweet front interesting notes almost earthy. Ends abruptly with minimal sour taste

Distiller Review No. 650 Tasted three whiskies from Savage & Cooke and three from the Splinter Group last night. These are my quick take impressions. 4 of 6 Semisweet, berries, baking spices, vanilla, oak char and tobacco, somewhat refined, lightly bitter finish. Easiest to drink and favorite of the night.
