Stranahan's Colorado Whiskey (Discontinued)

Good, strong whiskey. Harsh by itself, very good with an ice cube or splash of water.

Sweet vanilla, but hot. Icing helps.

Nose: lots of sweet fruits, some vanilla and oats. This smells more like a scotch than a bourbon Taste: oak and oats are up front with vanilla and dried fruit in the back Finish: pepper hits you in the face and then mellows out into a sweet brown sugar caramel finish

Honey with a hint of spice in the aroma, flavor is reminiscent of glenlivet, mild smoky, pepper, active on the upper palate with some alcohol heat.

Rye, cinnamon and orange on the nose, sweet, creamy palate with some cinnamon, cloves and candied orange notes, long, tongue tingling, spicy finish with a little sweet/sour action.

Light bright and a touch of caramel

Really strong sulphur/kerosene notes on the aroma. Nice mouthfeel with some oiliness, but the kerosene flavor pops out again on the finish.
