Tamdhu 12 Year

Nose: Vanilla, oak, apples, raisins, plums Palate: Vanilla, appless, plums, raisins Finish: Spicy oak, raisins, plums, chocolate Elegant and restrained sherry matured whiskey with excellent balance. Very good distinguishable style with this one.

Orange and Orange Zest fades to a candied finish. Spice upfront but fades. Was sold as an alt to Macallan for 30 less, but tried some Macallan side by side and the Macallan is more developed and deeper sherry throughout.

Gros miel, épices subtiles (cannelle, clou, curcuma), texture huileuse riche, aucune chaleur d’alcool, not all first fill barrels clearly, marmelade d’orange, très agréable encore une fois de Tamdhu!

Nice price for the quality and flavor of this scotch. Nice packaging and presentation. 43% wish it was a bit higher proof. On the nose: orange scone, raisins, dates, floral, nuts, vanilla and of course sherry. Taste: gentle and creamy. Bannana and clove essence similar to a Belgian beer, sherry, oak, fruit cake spices. Very nice Scotch.

Cookies and spices. Sweet citric soft taste
