AquavitAquavit (aka akvavit) is a predominantly caraway and/or dill flavored spirit made using a neutral spirit base distilled from potatoes or grain. Other botanicals can be used and it can be aged, but neither are required. Traditionally made in Scandinavia, but can be produced anywhere.
Tasting Notes
"Tattersall Aquavit has a yellow gold hue and is all caraway and anise on the nose. Its flavor mirrors its aroma, with a light tingle of spice on the tongue. There are also hints of cardamom and coriander. This aquavit would do well topped with tonic or poured over ice."
