Macallan 12 Year Sherry Oak Cask

Intéressant mais un peu décevant quand on considère son prix ! Presque 200$ à la SAQ en ce moment. Très classique scotch en fût de sherry qui justifie pas vraiment le prix. Goût de fruits mûrs et de vanille. Finale assez longue. Bouteille ouverte en 2023-07.

One of the classics for me. Nose is all raisins and to me almost pure simple syrup. Tasting is the same flavors af first, though perhaps less intense. Then the finish I get notes of cherry tobacco

Classy scotch. Beautiful copper coloring with legs that won’t quit. It is extremely smooth and oily. Tastes of crème brûlée, vanilla, malt, biscuit, cherry, and apple. Some think this scotch is too expensive. It is not a everyday drinker. It’s for special events and occasions. I’ve bought many a $80-$100 bottles of bourbon or scotch. Keep it on the top shelf and use it for special friends and events. This bottle shows you are a serious scotch drinker and may convert others to our world. Cheers!
