Thomas H. Handy Sazerac Rye (Fall 2016)

What a pour! The flavor was good but what made this product so special was the viscosity/ mouth feel. I am not talking taste but when this whiskey touched my tounge it was as if it melted like butter. This whiskey had me smacking. Not sure if im reviewing the correct year but it was 129 proof that drank like 105. I would love to hace another oppirtunity with yhis product.

Bold baking spices up front on the nose followed by brown sugar and Graham cracker. The front of the palate is a slight hint of mint, spice, pepper, and brown sugar. Balanced and not too sweet. It finished long and opens up to more pepper followed by an intense sweetness. Great pour.

N- vanilla - rye- spice - light mint P- pepper spice - Burt sugar - or F- epic- burns and holds on- taste and feel it well after - pepper- burr sugar- fall spices - *did add water- one drop- made the finish even better- much smoother- still a long hot burn- more spice and sugar- light pepper and Maybe mint
