Three Chord 12 Year Twelve Bar Reserve Barrel Proof

Nice and viscous but I taste a bit of char and/or smoke which is off putting to my palate unfortunately. For those who like that note this is very solid.

It’s fine, definitely sweet and fairly strong. However, it tastes a little young & strong to me. The price point on this probably rules out the possibility of me buying a bottle again, but it could be something fun to try at the bar.

Fairly mild but needed to add a drop of water

Letting it open after a neck pour and evaluating after a third pour about 3 weeks later. Initial smell is of leather and oak with a hint of caramel. Tasting it yields a warm but slightly nutty taste, with a slight hint of caramel in the middle taste. Ends with a bit of extra warm leather and caramel finish. It’s a decent sipper neat or with ice, but there are better choices out there in this price range.
