Tomatin 12 Year Bourbon & Sherry Casks

Given some the lackluster inline reviews for this I was actually pleasantly surprised. First couple sips taste like apple pie. After that the spice and oak creeps up a little but still very pleasant. You have to compare this to other readily available 12 yrs like Glenfiddich and Glenlivet. In my opinion it is just as good and usually for less money.

Sweet apple and sherry - delightful.

Lovely on the nose, lots of red fruits, quite sweet, get a little bit of green apple. On the palate it's incredibly sweet and a bit spicy. Definitely can taste that it was in a bourbon cask.

Leve, agradável. Frutado, ausência de turfa, levemente picante.

Very smooth and enjoyable. Would buy again. Good choice by Aimee.
