Harsh finish but smooth

Bad taste, kind of earthy. No burn though.

Bitey, but complex

Herbal notes, full body with notes of vanilla and pear, thyme and sage, oaky finish

Revisiting Town Branch after a trip to the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. I was please to see that they have gone from 80 to 90 proof are are up to 8 years of age (per our tour guide). I get lots of barrel, nutty and butterscotch notes cleaned up by maple on the back end. Great bottle for $40!
