Sharp at first sip, malty, smokey, young, sweet grain, soft wood, grassy, meadow, floral. These are the first taste impressions. As I sipped and filled a second short dram the bite softened. I was able to hold it in my mouth comfortably for a time to swish and feel. I seemed thin but has some long legs of oily flavenoids. The tast becam more floral and very typically grain and mildly sweet. Pleasant all around. The price point, $22 at costco is great for this dram. Its kind of a mild typical single malt flavor without the high cost. Not too long of a finish but a long pleasant feel, reminiscent of Bruichladdie Classic Laddie flavor. Ill have to run it. Y my buddies to see what they think. They call me a budget king of decent whiskey.
