Quite light in color. Looks like a mason jar of yellow popcorn seeds.
Has a wonderful sweet nose of creamed corn and cooked apples with cinnamon and a bit of barn must.
For a ride, this is extremely pronounced with corn all over. It's soft and sweet up front, and the creamed corn noted on the nose definitely comes through on the front, stays in the mid palate and leans into the finish.
Trails off with vanilla and heath bars accented by cinnamon, clove and baking cacao.
A bit of tartness like a granny smith apple pie drizzled with caramel shows up on the finish, reminding that it actually is a rye.
