This one is all dried fruits and sherried notes on the nose. It makes you think it's going to be a Sherry bomb on the palate like an Aberlour A'bunadh or Glenfarclas but then the palate is really chill. It carries the dried fruits from sherry casks along with some fig preserves and fruit cake. Finish is moderate length with tart dried fruits like dried cherries or currants.

Throw in a splash of cold water and it's an incredible array of flavors that belie the barley and sherry casks. Think chocolate covered espresso beans, slight oak and bananas. Ignoring price, this is a 92-95 point dram. More aging could yield something incredible. Mildly overpriced at this maturity.
