A little spicy. Nice oil and legs. Has that grassy rye taste (especially on the aftertaste) and is strong and a bit bitter. Not my favorite but it’s okay

Taste: It has sugar cookies and vanilla frosting up front, then finishes with rye spice and a warming booziness. The mouthfeel is fairly chewy.
Look: Golden-leaning brown
Smell: Marshmallows and rye spice
Man this was a great rye. First time with anything whistle pig and im excited for more. Easily drinkable, smooth, sweet, tasty, with minimal bite. Another affirdable rye thats worth a spot in any rotation.
okay straight. i wouldnt give it an average score quite yet. its just a fine sipper but tastes a good bit like woodford straight malt with a spicier bite. below my choice sippers for now and definitely below most bourbons. Bourbon tends to be sweeter
