Reviewed January 13, 2022Nose : Cloves and a little peanut. Little licorice and wax. Taste : Some walnut and anise. Finish : Black pepper and toast. Kind of all over the place. Interesting notes in the neat pour. Experience and mouthfeel is watery and spicy at the same time. It might grow on me. Was awesome in a Sazerac.39.25 CAD per BottleSAQ -

Reviewed April 5, 2021Very disappointed with this one. Smooth with simple and diminished sweet flavors and overall a lack of character. Not bad though, just quite boring. Might be good to mix, but a cheaper whisky would do the job. At its price point (at least where I live), Lot No. 9 would be a much better choice for people wanting to try out Canadian rye whiskys. I would have ranked it 2.5/5, but because of its price compared to others I have to lower it by half a point at least.39.0 CAD per BottleSAQ Sélection -

Reviewed October 17, 2020Good whiskey for mixing, cocktails. But I prefer whiskey with more characters. I notice this whiskey has Gin Aromas. For whiskey aged 5 to 7 years I was really disappointed. No sweetness, no vanilla, no caramel flavor.40.0 CAD per Bottle
