Wild Turkey Longbranch

Neat in a glencairn. Cracked 2 weeks ago, this is a shoulder pour. A: medium amber and good legs. N: vanilla, cinnamon, cherry pie, smoky oak, a little mint/menthol. Overall pleasant. P: wet and slightly oily mouthfeel, pepper, smoke, wanna say mesquite but more oaky, some cinnamon and baked green apples. F: light to moderate burn with cinnamon and smoke.

Pretty smooth, good bourbon taste, mild burn after, decent standard bourbon. Very light tasting, some notes of apple, leather, and caramel.

Strong bite, pepper and oak taste, didn’t linger too long and the taste was underwhelming. Overall, not a fan.
