Wild Turkey Longbranch

Nose: very very light. Corn, cream, oak, milk chocolate? Palate: muted bourbon notes. Corn, caramel, oak, leather. Finish: short and dry, leaves much to be desired. Not bad. The low proof hurts this a lot. Leaves much to be desired. Overall decent for Sipping if you don't want it to creep up on you. At its price point I think I'd save some coin and just get 101. The nose really shines given time but the palate never really delivers.

Longbranch bottle kill. I've enjoyed this one a lot. It shows the softer easy drinking notes wild turkey has to offer. It's a great bottle for when you want something light to sip on a warm summer day. As far as lower proof bourbons go, this is one of my favorites. Sweet and smooth, yet flavorful.

Agree with mild whisky comments. Had at a movie theater so didn't do full tasting. I liked it though. Reminded me of what Jack Daniels could be like if it were better. Cloying sweetness with a really funky finish. I'd buy a bottle for variety as it's much different than most whiskies.
