Wilderness Trail Bottled in Bond Single Barrel Bourbon (Wheated Bourbon)

Barrel no. 16I1620A- Smells like sweet corn and apples. Tastes like sweet buttered popcorn or a less sweet caramel corn. Toasty oak and pecan on the finish.

I chose this bottle based on positive reviews and awards given to the distillers. I see good things to come in the future. I plan to enjoy it while it is still reasonably priced.

Lots of spice notes.

This has a very prevalent oat note on the back end. Like a Cheerio. It's different, but pretty solid overall.

A little spice, short finish but very smooth. Perhaps a little mint or herb on the finish.
