Reviewed December 30, 2020 (edited February 26, 2021)Really hot and dry. Finish is harsh. Buttered popcorn, vanilla, green apples. Like mellow corn but almost worse and $40 more. Bummer. -

Reviewed December 28, 2020 (edited February 26, 2021)Nose: Real hot, great bourbon nose with a lot oak and vanilla with the baby of cayenne and allspice coming in late, butterscotch, bit of char, baked fruit (blackberry?) with water Palate: Nice and sweet with a bit of saltiness to cut through it, char carries through, big butterscotch, vanilla, malted milk ball, blackberry pastry and sugary with water Finish: Long, sweetness doesn’t stop, great spice left on the palate, corn shows itself most here, proof carries all the way down Great friggin bourbon and appreciate them getting Danville on the map. So structured and easy to work through when tasting, great experience.
