Wilderness Trail Bottled in Bond Small Batch Bourbon (High Rye Bourbon)

Corn with a black pepper bouquet, mild sweet corn up front that actually is drying in flavor, rather mild and smooth, a bit too mellow overall.

I am going to rate this as a standard release. I have 2 categories any day walk in a grab it off the shelf and a separate scoring method for LE's and allocated bottles. To walk in a pick this up off the shelf it's the best bourbon under 50 bucks holy shit is this stuff great. I really think I have found the one, maybe it's my palate and this hits just right I love it. I'm not a bottle killer most bottles last me months I kill half the bottle this weekend and went back to the store to grab the rest they had incase it was a fluke and it was just that batch. This blows McKenna out of the water for perspective.

Good peat and malt notes. Young
