Reviewed November 3, 2023 (edited November 10, 2023)Nose: fresh cut wood, honey, caramel, and spice. Palate: creamy with notes of honey suckle, herbs, and spice. Reminds me of a graham cracker with honey on it. Delicious. Very long finish. Was not expecting this to be as sweet as it is. Great bottle. Bonus points: this is a beautiful and classy looking bottle.65.0 USD per BottleJ's Bottle Shop -

Reviewed October 26, 2023Nose: Mint, bright brown sugar, citrus, and a hint if cinnamon. Palate: Anise, dill, vanilla, pepper, and apple towards the very back end. Long lasting finish. Overall: similar to my rye reviews, I found the nose much more intriguing than the pallet. The nose showed much sweeter flavors as the taste was much more spice forward. I still would reccomend this whiskey. -

Reviewed October 18, 2023Not as good to me neat as it is with about 2-3 forks of water. Broadens the taste. Brings out spicy sweetness. It was a gift but I would buy it if I find it. -

Reviewed October 13, 2023 (edited October 14, 2023)Nose: Earthy, almost a moss coming through. Behind all that is hints of toffe or caramalized butter. Taste: In the beginning there was earthly woodiness, then a wonderful flower that blooms into the finish. Finish: Very present, on the longer side, and a great toasty aftertaste. Overall, I believe it is not what I want in a whiskey but it is good at what it is. It may be that I am not a rye fan currently.
