Reviewed July 31, 2024One of thr best tastes I’ve ever had. A little hot but very complex. Would not pass on a bottle at a reasonable cost.300.0 USD per Bottle -

Reviewed June 4, 2024 (edited June 6, 2024)The nose is strong with charred oak, cherries, dried flowers, leather, vanilla and smoke. It is rather intense and full, showing every bit of its age. It is truly something to get lost in. The palate is very dry yet rich, coating the mouth in a strong mix of rye and baking spices, dark chocolate, oak and vanilla. The flavor is quite intense yet chewy, and very spice forward. This might actually be a good example of a whiskey that would benefit from being at a lower proof, as there are faint hints of nuanced flavor that are on the verge of coming out. The medium finish is long, spicy and chewy. It all fades away surprisingly quick, but is highly memorable. At a lower proof, this would be dessert. Still absolutely incredibly. -

Reviewed March 30, 2024First time trying any William Heavenhill and was surprised how bad I thought it was. Over oaked and overly spicy. Not a lot of flavor coming through besides oak and cinnamon spice. Definitely would not buy a bottle at retail. -

Reviewed March 9, 2024 (edited March 10, 2024)Fresh crack Friday. Nose: Peanut brittle, oak, caramelized sugar, baked apples with cinnamon & clove. Palate: Strawberry shortcake with vanilla cream that is sitting in a cigar bar with wafts of leather and sweet tobacco smoke. Sweet oak and very slight honey roasted peanut with coconut peaking through on the sides of the tonuge before giving way to the finish. Finish: Pleasantly long but not sharp or hot. Red berries, dark honey and a kiss of oak An exciting sip that you can absolutely sit with. I am eager to see how it opens up. Cheers!278.0 USD per Bottle
