Its smooth in the front end with some sweetness and a little vanilla. Kind of cookiesh. On the back end you have some spice but not to much. Just enough to counter the sweet. If you were add water it takes away from the sweetness and bring out the spice a little more.

I'm suddenly feeling like I've been transported to an apple orchard. There are also very strong floral notes and a sweet honey that's fairly subtle Smooth and rich. Very floral and sweet with a bit of pepper to balance it out. A quick bite on the finish but it vanishes with a hint of banana as quickly as it arrives. T.I. said it best I think, "I don't want no mediocre."

I don’t know about “The Champagne of Irish Whiskey”, but certainly this is “The Cognac of Irish Whiskey”. Exceptionally well crafted, this whiskey is one of the best we’ve ever had. A deeply rich, fruity, citrus touched and light Irish that has us going back for more. There is so much going on here with flavors that keep popping in and out as the journey goes forward. At times lightly spicy with gingerbread, at others brightly fruity like a sherry-finished spirit, the overall effect is of a lovely liquid dessert. Quite remarkable and deserving of the many accolades it has garnered over the years.
