Caramel, maple, baking spices, mild rye finish

True to description. Clean finish. Pears well with a smoke. Warm caramel, baking spice, with a sophisticated oak. Rye doesn't gut punch, but shows up on the finish.

Strong vanilla at first but a spicy backbone with strong alcohol

Rye, vanilla, almond, oak and menthol floral nose. Sweet bread, more vanilla, corn, piney mint and sawdust on the tongue. Cinnamon spicy finish with lingering spearmint. For a cowboy whiskey this is pretty refined.

Not a bad offering from Wyoming Whsikey. The 100 proof is nice. Nose and taste both offer a lot of mint, oak, wintergreen gum. The taste is also rounded out with vanilla and fruit (fig newton, strawberry kiwi). Its stronng at first, then lingers nicely. Different, but very solid.
