Yamazaki 12 Year

Strong cranberry aroma from the beginning, light earthy aroma, grassy, ​​melted butter slice and a slight hint of cornmeal. Taste of vanilla, unsalted butter, cornmeal. In Bulgaria - kachamak. The finish is medium long in an oily sphere, with a light hint of earthy feeling, but not smoky. Not exactly my type of whisky.

Nose: Very complex, with vanilla, cereal, and oak. Palate: Buttery and rich, with layers of honey. Finish: Subtle smokiness, lingering gently.

Aromas are caramel, malt, vanilla, nutmeats, brown sugar, a hint of citrus. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose, much more bland but with a barest hint of smoke. Super smooth. Maybe that comes from the blandness.
