Yellowstone is one of those bourbons that has reached a recent popularity due to the TV series of the same name starring Kevin Costner. That said, it is a decent overall bourbon and the 1/2 stake in the Limestone Branch Distillery's input likely makes it taste with the decency it does. Yellowstone supposedly uses an heirloom corn for a milder flavor. In the stated mash bill, corn accounts for 75% of it, with 13% rye and 12% malted barley finishing the grain roll call. According to their website, the recipe came from Stephen and Paul Beam’s grandfather’s notes. Seems like, when one gets to digging, many of these distilleries owners, family members & their master distillers are somehow related throughout the eons. I'm all in even at my 3.0 rating. Try it. I think you'll like it too. Cheers.
