    Garryana is part of Westland's Outpost Range Collection, a limited edition series highlighting the provenance of the Pacific Northwest. This seventh edition continues to put a spotlight on Quercus garryana, a type of oak indigenous to the area. But Westland also used Washington State syrah and cabernet sauvignon red wine casks for its finishing. A small portion of first-fill ex-bourbon casks were also used. As for the barley used for the American single malt, the grain types are as follows: Washington Select Pale Malt, Munich Malt, Extra Special Malt, Pale Chocolate Malt, Brown Malt, Baird's Heavily Peated Malt. Only 6,900 bottles were produced and availability is expected in February 2023. (SRP $149.99)

    Crafted at Irish Distillers' Midleton Distillery, Powers Irish Rye Whiskey is made from 100% Irish rye sourced from the Cooney Furlong Farm in Co. Wexford. The rye whiskey was aged in a mix of virgin oak, first fill and refill casks. Bottled at 43.2% ABV, Powers Irish Rye will be released from 20th February 2023 in the US, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Dublin Airport and online at PowersWhiskey.com with other markets to follow in the coming months.     Sagamore Spirit 8 Year Straight Rye is a limited edition release under the Maryland distillery's Reserve Series. Aged for 8 years in new, charred American oak barrels, this is bottled at 111.4 proof. There was a previous 8 year-old rye released by the brand back in 2021, but that bottling was only available in select markets and at the distillery. This version has a wider availability which includes the brand's entire domestic footprint. Available March 2023. (SRP $79)

    Rabble Rouser is the brand's annual bottled in bond 100% rye whiskey. This 2023 release is the last version to be aged in Catoctin Creek's original 30-gallon barrels. Aged for 4 years and bottled at 100 proof, this whiskey will be available at the distillery and in select retailers throughout the brand's distribution footprint. The whiskey officially launches on Valentine's Day 2023 which also happens to be the Catoctin Creek's 14th birthday. (SRP $99)

    This 18 Year Cask Strength Bourbon is part of the Boondocks' Signature Series Collection which is overseen by Master Distiller David Scheurich. After 18 years of aging, this Kentucky straight bourbon is bottled at a cask strength of 52.7% ABV. The 1,620 bottles in the collection are individually hand numbered. Available as of February 2023 in FL, GA, IL, KY, NH, NJ, NY & TX. (SRP $279.99)

    The Heritage Collection is an annual spring release with each whiskey in the series featuring one of six traditional American whiskey mash bills produced by Heaven Hill. For the second release, the distillery has selected a 20 year-old corn whiskey with a mash bill recipe of 80% corn, 12% malted barley, and 8% rye. The batch was made from 110 barrels that were filled in October 2002 and matured on the 3rd floor of rickhouse 1K. Limited availability begins nationally in March 2023. (SRP $289.99)

    The Art & Craft series from M&H Distillery is a limited edition collection of "forward-thinking whiskies." This bottling is one of six in the first collection, each of which is aged in an ex-beer barrel. For this DoppelBock Beer Cask, the Tel Aviv distillery partnered with Ha'aretz Brewery which used ex-bourbon barrels to age its DoppelBock. After 4-6 months, the beer was dumped and the barrels were sent to M&H to fully mature their single malt for at least 3 years. Additionally, one of the casks used in this bottling spent a full year maturing in the M&H Dead Sea project. Availability beginning February 2023 in the US, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, South Africa and Israel. (SRP $120)

    Elements of Islay is a range of small batch, sourced, and independently-bottled whiskies which focuses on the Isle of Islay. Cask Edit is one in the core trilogy from the brand and is a blended malt expression. The whisky is a blend of Islay single malt whiskies which aged in refill, bourbon, and sherry casks. It's bottled at 46% ABV without added color or chill filtration. US launch begins February 2023. (SRP $65)
