10Siete Leguas Blanco Tequila is made from 100% blue Weber agave and produced using a blend of tequilas distilled at the brand’s two distilleries in Atotonilco El Alto, Jalisco: Fábricas El Centenario and La Vencedora. At El Centenario, the agaves are crushed using a traditional tahona pulled by mules and fermented with wild yeast, while La Vencedora uses a modern molina mill and a proprietary yeast strain. Both tequilas are distilled in copper pot stills before being blended together to create the final expression. (SRP $45)

9G4 Blanco Tequila was created by master distiller Felipe Camarena and is produced at El Pandillo Distillery in Jesús María, Jalisco. Named for the four generations of Camarena tequila makers, the agaves are cooked in stone ovens for about 22 hours before being crushed with a handmade metal tahona known as “Felipestein.” Fermentation is followed by double distillation in copper pot stills. The tequila is proofed using a 50/50 blend of collected rainwater and natural spring water. This additive-free blanco is bottled unaged at 40% ABV (80 proof). (SRP $40)

8LALO Tequila is made from agave sourced from the Highlands of Jalisco along with deep well water and a proprietary Champagne yeast strain. The harvested agaves are cooked in stone ovens before being pressed and double distilled. LALO is named for one of its co-founders, Maestro Tequilero Eduardo “Lalo” González, the grandson of Don Julio González who founded the tequila brand that bears his name. 71 2 3 (to be pronounced “Uno, Dos, Tres”) is a tequila brand that was founded by David Ravandi. It is certified organic by both the USDA and the EU. The unaged “Uno” uses 100% blue agave sourced from the Tequila Valley (Lowlands). The bottles are made from 100% recycled glass, with the labels printed on 100% recycled paper. Soy ink is used for the printing.

6El Tesoro Blanco Tequila is produced at La Alteña Distillery in the Highlands of Jalisco, founded in 1937 by Don Felipe Camarena. Made with 100% estate-grown blue Weber agave, the piñas are cooked for three days in traditional brick ovens before being crushed by a two-ton tahona stone. 4Mijenta Tequila is a tequila brand which launched in the US in August 2020. It is made by maestra tequilera Ana Maria Romero from ripe agaves harvested in the Highlands of Jalisco. Notably, all the paper-related products for the bottle and box are made from agave waste. Mijenta is inspired from "mi gente" which means "my people." This blanco expression is unaged and bottled at 40% ABV.

2Fortaleza Blanco Tequila is produced by fifth-generation tequila maker Guillermo Erickson Sauza, a descendant of the Sauza family that helped establish the tequila industry. In 2005 he revived his family’s historic distillery in Tequila, Jalisco, producing tequila using traditional methods: agaves are cooked in brick ovens, crushed with a tahona stone, and fermented naturally in open-air wooden tanks before double distillation. In Mexico the brand is known as Los Abuelos, honoring the Sauza family members who helped shape the tequila tradition, while it is sold internationally as Fortaleza (“fortitude”). The additive-free blanco is bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof).
