Nose: marzipan, banana, caramel, chalky mineral, Edinburgh castle rock, hoppes no. 9 gun bore cleaner, icing sugar Body: light and peppery Palate: peat puff, banana, minerality runs through it, candy, sweet, hints of caramel, butterscotch, nutty Finish: not long

Nose: dark fruit, cinnamon, honey, banana Palate: oaky, spicy, rich fruit, prune and plum, a bit of alcohol Mouth feel: mouth coating, spicy Finish: fairly long

Nose: slightly cognac, rich, raisin, hints of vanilla and grape, pumpkin guts, woody, MELON Body: light and very very smooth Palate: woody, dates, very pretty, vanilla, very subtle and mature Finish: woody, again cognac

Nose: cognac, raisiny, dries dark, honeysuckle, vanilla Body: light-medium Palate: mineraly, little spicy, honey, citrus, orange zest, sherried Finish: not much to speak of—slightly woody?

Nose: floral, tropical fruit, banana, hints of smoke, woody Palate: light, floral, creamy, banana, salty and spicy, cinnamon, buttery, hints of vanilla and slight citrus Finish: woody, salty, not super long

Nose: banana, caramel, marzipan, vanilla, tablet Palate: banana, caramel, honey, vanilla, a little spicy, somewhat dulled Body: smooth, slightly spicy, woody Finish: woody, dull, short Pretty good. Not turned off but not particularly intrigued. A bottle that has been open a while so a fresh taste might be different.

Nose: smoky, strawberry, raspberry, woody, slightly medicinal Palate: the usual briny and salty notes of a longrow. smoke well-balanced with sweet, buttery notes. Flowery, hints of dark fruit but again much more floral and more subtle than a sherried whisky. Tart, Woody and spicy. Rich apple. Strawberries and cream. Body: rich but not oily or viscous. Full. Finish: long, woody, hints of apple and berry. Robust.
