I finally had a chance to try this Gin and while it is very smooth and has a great mix of botanicals but it is a bit pricey for my taste. I like the juniper nose and citrus end, but it still has a peppery finish that is very much like Tanqueray 10. However, it is more expensive. It does make a very solid Gin and Tonic but it is easy to drown the gin. In a Martini, I had to use a little less vermouth because the first one I made I mainly tasted the vermouth. It is quite good but a little too pricey for the quality. Now if you like Tanqueray 10 you will most likely like this. Drink and enjoy.40.0 USD per Bottle

I have spent a few weeks drinking this stalwart of the Gin world and I truly understand why it has been popular for so long. It has a crispness and cleanness mixed well with all of the drinks I made. The spices they use really complement a Gin and Tonic with a little extra lime. It also makes a very good Martini with a 3 to 1 ratio and I was using Gallo vermouth which is not a great vermouth but is serviceable. The drink it makes is quite good and easy to drink. I really like how I can find this at any liquor store in the country. It is very affordable and is of good quality. While I do not have any space in my home but I will make one after this business trip. I still like other Gins better, but this is a strong contender for a regular in my bar. Drink and enjoy.20.0 USD per Bottle

So I have been on a Rum kick in the summer heat and I had a chance to pick up a bottle of Flor de Cana 4yr rum and it is a wonderful low-cost rum and for the price, it is out of this world. It is somewhat sweet but not cloying or syrupy. It mixes very well with everything I have used and it can be sipped if you are in the mood. I am sure there are better 4-year-old rums out there but I do not think there are better at this price. I will try to keep this in my home bar and use it often and I highly recommend this.15.0 USD per Bottle

So after several times of drinking this rum, I have finally had time to write a review of it. To start with this is the first spiced rum I remember drinking and it has been replaced in my favorites by Sailor Jerry's but this is still a good spiced rum. However, it seems thin today with so many spiced rums today. It still makes a good Rum and Coke but there are so many better and cheaper options that it is hard to recommend this rum over the others.25.0 USD per Bottle

I just bought a bottle to try since it was on sale. It also came with a free shot glass which is nice. On the nose, it smells like a softer version of Fireball but it tastes too light. I like the cinnamon red hot flavor it first has but that goes away very quickly. I did mix 1 oz of this with a bottle of Apple Orchard Hard cider and it was good but the flavor is still not strong enough to create the apple pie flavor that Fireball has. I am sad to say that the shot glass was the best part of the purchase. I will not keep this in my bar.22.0 USD per Bottle

I tried some lower shelf over the last few days and was not surprised by the flavor. This whiskey is almost sad by itself. The flavor is very thin and is like alcohol with whiskey flavor. I does mix well and guess that this is its saving grace. It mixes well with soft drinks and even other spirits. At the low price, it has some worth as a bottom shelf whiskey just for mixing. I may keep it in my bar for cheap drinks. We shall see.14.0 USD per Bottle

Colonel E.H. Taylor, Jr. Small Batch Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed March 18, 2020 (edited June 1, 2021)So I had the wonderful opportunity to try this over the 4th of July holiday. So when we had finished eating and most of the men were sitting around the table this elixir of life was opened for us to try. Right off the block, it has a pure bourbon smell. I could smell vanilla and sweetness then a bit of spice. I did make the mistake of taking a deep breath of the Bourbon and it numbed my sense of smell for a few minutes. I do taste oak and spice on the end. But this is a great Bourbon it has a great bold but smooth taste and it lets you know that you are drinking a Bourbon. At 100 proof it is hot but it is controlled with most of the heat showing up at the end of the drink. Bourbons like this are why I like drinking bourbon it is a friend and family event. We talked about the aspects of the drinks and the flavor of each one. My thanks to Jeff Sutton he chose the bottle and shared it with the family. If you really enjoy whiskey not just Bourbon this should be in your home bar. What a fine drink this was.75.0 USD per Bottle -
What can I say about this Gin? I have thoroughly enjoyed tasting this in all of its glory and flavor. It has a smooth juniper nose and a light citrus flavor and it mixes with everything I have made with it. I will have to add this to my list of "Gins for people that say they don't like Gin". The flavor is light but it does not disappear in drinks like Hayman's or Aviation. This is a solid gin and the only thing that is close to a negative is that I wish it had a higher proof but other than that I really enjoy this gin and will continue to stock it in my bar.25.0 USD per Bottle

I have used Parrot Bay Rums for a while now and for their price point, they are really good for "Fru-Fru" drinks that my wife likes. It has a soft non-medicinal rum that mixes very well and is not offensive. I do not buy flavored rums to uncover the hidden meaning of life because that is what a good bourbon is for. Buy it as a mixer and enjoy it.15.0 USD per Bottle

This is a review for Bacardi Coconut Rum as I do not see it in the line-up for the Bacardi Rums. I bought several flavored rums for my wife as she loves the crazy colors and flavors of tropical drinks. I have made Pina Coladas and drinks I had in Hawaii. Sadly, this is a poor substitute for Parrot Bay Coconut Rum. It is thin and a one-trick pony with a medicinal coconut after taste. It does mix well in drinks but it is not as good as Parrot Bay for around the same price. I will not buy this again.15.0 USD per Bottle
