This is an amazing Gin. It is my second favorite Gin after Drumshanbo Gunpowder Gin the flavor and price are just wonderful. The flavor of the botanical mix is nearly perfect for me with the citrus flavors emerging whenever they drink features them. It is easy with a Gin and Tonic for the overall flavor to get lost but adds a bit more lime and you will taste the difference. I will admit that in a Martini it is not as good as Drumshanbo. This is becoming more popular and far more readily available and that is a very good thing it is a very good drink at a really good price. I try to keep a bottle of this in my bar at all times it is that good. If you like Gin at all give this a try.25.0 USD per Bottle

I tried this vodka on a business trip recently and it is a "well" drink at best. It smells like rubbing alcohol and a little baby oil mixed in. It is cheap and that is not a bad thing. It mixes well with OJ and coke and that is what it is good for. It reminds me of drinking shots in college and I hope I have outgrown this. This is a good mixer at best and I did not like it neat.15.0 USD per Bottle

Larceny Small Batch Kentucky Straight Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed March 18, 2020 (edited November 13, 2023)This is a very interesting wheated Bourbon whiskey it fits in the middle of the flavor range of wheated bourbons. It is not too sweet with a nice vanilla and maybe brown sugar but those fade too quickly to heat and has very pronounced Oak woody aftertaste. It is thinner than W.L. Weller and Markers Mark 46 but it was as good or better than Rebel Yell and regular Makers Mark. It is good but not great Wheated Bourbon and one that I have enjoyed but I know there are better choices out there.25.0 USD per Bottle -
This is an average at best Rye. I was given a bottle of this by my family and after 2 weeks of trying this I can honestly say that every other Rye Whiskey I have in my bar is better than this and those include Bulleit Rye Sazerac, and Rittenhouse this all show and no go. Now, this is a harsh review but I was expecting at least above average whiskey. It does have a nice spicy nose but that is quickly replaced by a medicinal taste that lingers in your mouth. On the good side, it does make a good Old Fashion and a decent Manhattan but this is supposed a very good Rye and it is only good for mixing. I will return to this whiskey in about 3 weeks to see if the flavor has changed but right now at this price, I can not recommend this Rye to anyone. There are much better choices out there for a lot less money.35.0 USD per Bottle

What a disappointment. Bacardi has a GREAT marketing department because the rum inside is subpar. It does make a good Rum and Coke but so does nearly every other rum I have ever tried. The bottle is nice and has a classic look to it but I can't drink the bottle the rum inside is blah. I taste some vanilla and sweetness and heat. I was not expecting very much for about $15 a bottle but I feel let down.15.0 USD per Bottle

This is, in my opinion, the best of the basic Irish Whiskeys. These are Bushmills, Tullamore Dew, Jameson, and Powers. I know there are a lot of other Irish whiskeys out there but I find these four in every liquor store I go into. I have had all of these either at friends or for my own bar and the Gold Label Powers is by far the best of the group. It has a fuller flavor with light vanilla and caramel(maybe) notes on the nose. It is an Irish whiskey so it is smooth and lighter flavored but it is so much better than its competition it even has more flavor than most Canadian whiskeys as well. It is a fine everyday drinker and if you want to mix it feel free to. It is an introductory whiskey in the line play with it. It is $28 around where I live which puts it right in the wheelhouse of all of the Irish whiskeys. I really like this even though it does not have the depth older whiskeys or bourbon it is still good. This is a fairly interesting liquid. Jim Beam Honey is a sweet flavored bourbon and in my opinion, would be better if it were a bit less sweet. Neat it is almost syrupy sweet with honey and corn syrup but over ice, it smooths out so much. However, if you put it on vanilla ice cream ( with or without pie) and it becomes an outstanding addition to dessert. I do like it overall but as a stand-alone drink, it is too sweet for my tastes.18.0 USD per Bottle

I bought this over the summer and I have really enjoyed it. This is very pleasant not too sweet rum from the DR that tastes almost like it is a spiced rum and has vanilla and sweet nose and it has a fruity body I do like this rum. I want to say I bought this for closer to $20 and at that price, it is amazing at $25 or 30 not so much. Its flavor does hold up in drinks and it is not bad on the rocks but a bit sweet for me. There is a 5 yo and 12 yo that I want to try in this line and I will look for some autumn drinks with rum for them. I am not rating this higher simply because I only have two rums in my bar at the moment and while it is really good I do not have anything to rate it against so I will revisit this in a few months after I have had a few others. I really like this liqueur and it is great for hot-weather drinks. I picked up a bottle about a month ago and it is nearly gone now. It has wonderful light citrus notes and the bitterness is not overpowering. I have made a few of the spritzers they recommend and they range from average to great. However, the drink that encouraged me to try this liqueur is called a "Spaghetti" and it is amazing in hot weather. You take a lighter beer like regular Bud or Miller or a pilsner. Add 1 oz of Aperol and .5 oz of fresh lemon juice ( I use the juice from a half of a small lemon) add those the glass and pour the beer in and drink. The beer does need to be cold or the bitterness is the first thing you taste. I really like this liqueur and can not recommend it highly enough. It makes a great mixer but I did not care for it by itself or on the rocks. Enjoy.20.0 USD per Bottle

Galliano L'Autentico
Herbal/Spice Liqueurs — Piemonte, Italy
Reviewed March 18, 2020 (edited September 16, 2021)I like Galliano even if for me it is a one-trick pony. I bought this a good while back for my bar to make a Harvey Wallbanger and the flavor is really nice with the vodka and OJ. However, until very recently I have only used it for that but it can make a whole bunch of drinks like a Galliano sour and Hot Shot. It will take some getting used to in tasting that flavor with other things. I like the anise and vanilla flavors and how they mix with other things. I know there are other liqueur out there but I like this one. Enjoy.30.0 USD per Bottle
