This is a good solid rye whiskey. I have tried many at this price point and it is a good addition to my bar. It has a traditional spicey taste and smell and it mixes well with everything I have used it for. It makes a good but not great Old Fashioned and Manhatten. In this price point, it is my third favorite Rye with the first being Bullet Rye and the second being Jack Daniels Straight Rye. I have this in my bar when I have space for it.23.0 USD per Bottle

Soldier Valley Patriarch Whiskey
Blended Grain — Nebraska, USA
Reviewed March 18, 2020 (edited July 18, 2020)I bought a bottle of the whiskey a little while ago for the bottle it is shaped like a military canteen. I had no prior knowledge of this and no expectations of it. With that in mind, my opinion is that this whiskey is not a sipping drink. It is rough and unrefined neat and on the rocks. However, the silver lining of the drink is when mixed with soda. Not soda water but Coke, Diet Coke, or ginger ale that is when it begins to taste like something better. Alone it tastes like rot gut whiskey I drank in college but with a soft drink, it tastes respectable. I will probably not buy this again unless it is on sale because I do like the bottle but it is not the liquid inside.20.0 USD per Bottle -
William Wolf Pecan Bourbon
Flavored Whiskey — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed March 18, 2020 (edited April 14, 2020)This flavored bourbon is one of the very best flavored whiskeys on the market today. It makes a near-perfect pairing with vanilla ice cream as a dessert. To me, this drink mixes the best characteristics of a soft bourbon and an amaretto. It has a soft delicate pecan/nutty flavor that stays in your mouth between each sip. If you like nutty liqueurs and bourbon this will most likely be a home run for you.18.0 USD per Bottle -
13th Colony Southern Corn Whiskey
Corn — Georgia, USA
Reviewed March 18, 2020 (edited March 9, 2024)My Dad introduced me to this whiskey and it is nice. First, it is made in Americus, GA and being from another small town in GA I wanted to try what they were making. The liquid inside is a real corn whiskey and it took a little getting used to and this was my first all corn whiskey. It is sweet and smooth with some burn going down my throat. The only real complaint with this whiskey is that the taste is shallow. With many Bourbons, I have tasted the flavor moves and changes in my mouth and different tastes come up. With this corn whiskey, it is sweet and somewhat mellow but no change of any kind. Again this is my first corn whiskey and this may be how they are. This is not a deep whiskey but at the same time, it is not a cheap thin spined drink either. So I am going to revisit this whiskey in a few months and see if the whiskey or I have changed our views.30.0 USD per Bottle -
I really like this for its sharpness and bolder flavor. I have had several Irish whiskeys and this has the best flavor of the "starter whiskeys" from Ireland. The flavors are a bit sharp and not like other Irish whiskeys that I have tried. The taste lasts longer than most Irish whiskeys and the flavors soften as it passes over my palate. The Dubliner goes very well with fruits and cheese and is very nice on the rocks. Overall, this is a very good intro Irish whiskey and it has a nice flavor. Enjoy.23.0 USD per Bottle
