Had a while back, at 43% ABV. Grassy, fruity, floral and sweet with a little smoke. Smooth. Good balance but a little muted.

Not just smoke, also fruitiness, vanilla and sweetness. Quite a lot going on. Smooth, easy drinking with character.

Had a while ago. I remember fruit, vanilla and creaminess without much of the typical Johnnie Walker smoke. Nice.

Had a while ago. Not too much on the nose. Sweet, floral and creamy in the mouth. Long finish. Got better as the bottle emptied. Eminently drinkable and smooth despite the high ABV. Very good.

Had a while back. Candied fruits and a wisp of smoke in the background. More smoke comes out as the bottle got emptier. A big whisky, don’t be afraid of the ABV. Delicious.

Peat smoke, sweetness and a little fruit, fairly simple but very pleasant. The added 3% ABV on the US version gives it a little added weight. Probably my favorite daily drinker (meaning budget) scotch.
