    This is a very good mezcal with traditional mezcal notes. It has a robust construction with the expected smoky and citrus notes, all working together well and make this an ideal mezcal for people a bit intimidated by this spirit

    This is a robust rum that makes you second guess if you picked the right bottle. While this is a good sipping rum, this may not be ideal for those who expect a more traditional rum flavor. I have made a few cocktails with this rum and I think it works better that way than sipping (there are better sipping rums at this price point)

    This is an excellent mezcal. It has the traditional notes you'd expect from a Espadín Joven, but the big unique point to this bottle is the sweet fruit notes that limit the alcohol flavor of entry level mezcals. Before trying this, I thought Mezcal Union was a great starting selling point for people new to mezcal, but now this Koch El definitely takes the lead as best entry points to the mezcal world.

    This is a great tasting bourbon. Initial notes of honey and butterscotch followed by a well-balanced body. Finish is somewhat long but it only makes you want to have one more sip. It's hard to find better tasting bourbon under $50 than this somewhat difficult to find bottle.

    well balanced notes, tastes like a typical tequila with a smooth finish. it's a bit pricey but sometimes you can find it on sale for under 40 which is a fair price

    be prepared to be amazed by the train of flavors and notes, one right after the other. very complex gin, that can actually be a bit tricky to use in cocktails. light tonic makes of this gin a great spirit
