Tastes

Nose is butterscotch and sour apple. Pallet on the front is spices and green apple spices go into heat. Finishes off a little weak and doesn’t linger to much.

Fruity sweet vanilla nose. Tast is a little light on the front end but plenty of oak not really sweet a little vanilla. Heat comes in hits the back of your throat and mellow out all the way down and keeps you warm. Not to hot at all. Finishes out with pear and oak. Excellent smooth bourbon imho the best bourbon you can get that is on every shelf and coming in at 35 bucks it’s better than a lot of allocated hard to get bourbons.

Definitely sweet on the nose banana and pecans. Up front on the pallet I am getting more pecan less banana. Then comes some spice no real heat.

Nose is great. Like smelling velvet. Very oaky with a good amount of fruit to it. On the front end of the pallet classic oak a little bit of cherry, heat comes in and finishes a little sweet and that ky hug. It’s so much better than regular blantons. Regular blantons is good but for me doesn’t live up to the hype this however does.

Nose is Carmel and créame brulee and smoky. Taste is more smoky burnt sugar and plenty of oak. Not much heat at all. It’s warm going down but nowhere does it hit you hard.

Barrel 5008632 Nose is a little weird. Almost like a turpentine but just a little hint of it mostly just good ole alcohol and a little vanilla. Taste is light orange on the front end with a light spice and a light burn it’s a decent bourbon just not a full bourbon. I had another bottle from a different barrel and it was much better. If I had not had tatested that one this would be a lower score.

Nose is sweet a little nutty. Front end is a little thin but sweet a little banana. Middle comes on spicy and just a little heat. In the finish the heat continues spicy taste doesn’t fade but doesn’t last. Great bourbon to have over ice, mixed or neat it does it all. Great price and one of my go to bourbons. I will take this over weller sr any day and easy to find

Gallenstien store pick. Nose is heavy alcohol. Taste definitely bananas and more alcoholics a slow burn that doesn’t hit hard but it’s very hot. Finish comes in more smoaky and oakey. Not as smooth as other high proof barrrell proof ones that I have but still a solid bourbon had

129.7 proof. Nose is oak and spicy with plenty of alcohol. Classic bourbon taste plenty of oak Carmel and spice. Heat comes in and hits the back of your throat and into your nose. It’s hot but not harsh. It finishes off by calming down but going down with a warm hug

Nose is light fruity with a little citrus. Flavor is very full fruity kinda berry coming through. Then you get spices coming through. Not much heat especially for a rye. It finishes with more spice that stays until you take the next sip. One of my favorite ryes to date.
