Tastes

A lot going on here. The nose and palate change from sip to sip, day to day. That's a good thing- complexity is welcome always. Solid all around. Lives up to the hype. It's a must-try bottle. Maybe you'll come back for more - maybe not. Whatever - its good, and it's 110 proof. Sooooo... yeah.

Pretty good. Sweet, with a nice spice to it. That's about it. Loose-fitting cork. Revisited: Delicious. Great rye profile. I am really enjoying rhis tonight.

3/20/21 Potpourri; perfume. Wow. Eww. No.

First pour out of the bottle I was dissapointed - seemed decent, but where's the rye?? A couple days later and voila - now I get it! Wonderful high rye nose and taste. Smooth and well balanced. I disagree with the main review that says the finish is long and satisfying . I found it short and uneventful. Overall, quite enjoyable.

Mine is 64.85, so maybe different, but closest I could find. Barcode scanner came up empty. One ice cube; very good.

Solid rye all around. For a 51% (barely) rye, I wouldn't expect to get that nice rye bread mojo, the way a 95%er could, but somehow they pull it off. Solid purchase.
