Tastes

Very light in appearance aswell as aroma and taste. Subtle vanilla nose. Sweetness on the taste, apricot, candy and then a perfumed floral note. Very different from most whisky. Nice to try. Not bad, bit unusual 🤔 Whisky me pouch.

Whisky me pouch. Really enjoyable dram, surprisingly good actually. Lots of smoky peat but also very sweet. Light and fresh tasting, may need a bottle of this!

I didn't have high expectations of this budget Irish whiskey, but it's just so damn drinkable that I can't help but love it! Classic notes of buttery shortbread, vanilla and honey. Smooth and light it's just sips down so easily. Nothing special or complex, just a really good, solid Irish whiskey to knock back and enjoy the good times. 😄

Fiery and spicy. A drop or 2 of water brings out more of the sweet maple and vanilla. Like it 😋

It's light, smooth and creamy. Easy sipping. The fun is picking out the different sweet notes. Getting vanilla, orange, frosting, candy, something different every sip! A good value whisky that's definitely worth a try. On the sweeter side but has plenty to offer for me.

I loved this from my first sample 😍 the thick, waxy mouthfeel really does it for me! It's a sweet, honey forward whisky that is a far better taste than the bottle price suggests. 😜

This tasted different everytime I had some. Always got that green apple 🍏 though. Lots of oak on my last few drams. A really lovely Irish whiskey that's a little different from the norm.

Whisky me pouch. Really smooth, sweet and a little spicy. Quite different from American ryes I have tasted. It grew on me, quite like it. Vanilla and pencil sharpenings.

For the money this is great. Light and smooth with quite a thick mouthfeel. Sweet Sherry from all those oloroso barrels working well. Nothing too complex or special, but a really solid sherried whisky.
