Light and bright. Sweetness up front then a hit of smoke. Dies off quite soon. Enough going on to be interesting but nothing special, certainly an entry level to the world of Laphroaig. All the basic elements without any complexity or depth. Worth picking up at the right price.

Pretty decent, budget Irish whiskey. On the sweet side with Sherry and bourbon casks. Bit of spice to it. A good whiskey at such a low price point.

Quite young and fresh. Starts off with the usual Irish whiskey notes like buttery shortbread, then the Sherry kicks in with a bunch of sweet, fruitiness. Not much of a finish but for the money this is certainly above average in the budget Irish range.

The rum cask finish gives this some more tropical fruit notes than a normal Irish whiskey, with coconut, banana and possibly some pineapple 🤔 Full bodied and a good strength proof, it has quite a spicy kick to it! A little too harsh a burn on the finish I felt that let it down somewhat. Overall an interesting one, will be looking out for more from Teeling. Whisky me pouch.

Classic Irish notes ramped up with extra sweetness. Smoother and slightly more interesting. A mix between Irish and bourbon, I quite like it.

My favourite Bowmore to date. Sweet honey and jam for sure, little spicy cinnamon too. Love how light it feels compared to the 15. Goes down lovely, getting Salty caramel then a whiff of smoke into the finish.

Lots of Sherry influence on this. Dark, sticky sweet fruit notes. Picked up a lot of extra wood making it quite dry. Nice smoky peat flavour that lingers on the finish slightly. I like this but I prefer the 12 or 18. Feels a little dark and heavy in places. The time spent in the Sherry barrels took away more than it gave for me. The nose hints at lovely, light, fruity Sherry but the taste doesn't deliver what I imagined.

Nose is subtle with apple and milk chocolate. Taste is super smooth and creamy 😋 getting honey, vanilla, chocolate and caramel. Sips lovely, delicate but it's got some body and flavours.

This surprised me with how good it is! Just gorgeous 😍 Nose is green apple, vanilla and raspberry. Taste is all sweetness with apple, honey and bourbon notes. It's young and vibrant with a nice mouthfeel, not too thin or oily. This bottle didn't last long at all! Will be buying again soon.

45% abv, taste stronger though. A hot, peppercorn spice and some alcohol burn 🔥 a few drops of water makes this more of a sipper and mellows everything out. Brings out all the sweetness with vanilla, cinnamon and some banana. This can handle an ice 🧊 Certainly a step or 2 up from the standard JD. Worth buying on offer.
