A lagg distillery exclusive. This was a cheap blend buy but it really surprised me how nice it is. Sweetness up front with honey, bourbon and caramel. Quite a lot of peat and smoke follows and lingers on into the aftertaste. I would buy this again in a heartbeat, lovely stuff.

Free welcome dram from the distillery shop. Subtle peat smoke and dark fruits on the nose. Lovely light smoke following sweet Sherry notes. Very pleasant.

Miniature bottle purchased from the distillery shop. Not getting too much on the nose, some peat and dark fruits. Taste is fiery with a little 🔥 lovely Sherry notes with a nice little hit of peat giving a smoky aftertaste. Full, oily mouthfeel, I quite like this.

Sweet and potent. Died down with water. Nice peaty hit with sweet vanilla and bourbon 😋

Whisky me pouch. Quite dark in appearance. Fruity nose that shouts Sherry. Rich, oily mouthfeel that hints at being fruity before the peppery spice takes over! Once the burn dies down the Sherry notes return, raisin, stone fruit and cinnamon. Plenty of dry, oaky notes. Lots of Sherry characters coming from that first fill maturation. If you don't mind a bit of spicy heat in your Whisky, like me, then this is well worth a try. Really enjoyable.

This bottle has gone down very nicely 👌 aroma promises Sherry and fudge. Taste doesn't disappoint 😋 slightly oily with buttery shortbread and fudge. Lots of Sherry notes. A little burn on the back end. I get all these layers of sweetness unfolding out of this, delightful. Just a touch of salty/peaty flavours right at the back end. A wonderful whisky.

Whisky me pouch. Pretty hot and spicy off the bat with some burn. Once it settled the sweetness came out. Almonds, marzipan and cinnamon. Nice and sweet with a kick.

So smooth and soft. No burn at all. All sweetness on the nose and the taste follows. Nice oily mouthfeel. Need to buy a bottle as this single was gone far too quickly! 😩

Whisky me pouch 2007 edition. Subtle vanilla nose. Light taste with sweet notes of honey and vanilla. A little dry, Sherry finish. Nothing complex or intense, just a lovely, easy sipper.

Whisky me pouch. Aroma of sweet, dessert wine and cream. Taste is a sweet one. Full mouthfeel of berries, cream, vanilla and honey. Finish is a bit short and soon turns dry and woody. A touch harsh in places with some burn. Sweet enough to be pleasant but didn't wow me.
