Very much not the classic scotch profile but solidly enjoyable. This is dry with a slight nuttiness on the finish. Opens up and sweetens slightly with a couple drops of water

Not big on Macallan in general, but this is a classic, quintessential scotch but with a much longer finish than your average scotch whiskey.

The sherry absolutely shines through on this one. It’s malty with a dried apple finish. Would definitely drink again.

This has fruits, florals, and wood in a perfectly balanced trio. The image I have when drinking this is of an impossibly thin piece of wood balancing a basket of fruit and a potted flower. It’s different from last year’s, but equally incredible

Has all the typical flavors and viscosity of a good Bookers. But I decided to pull a scotch trick out and added a couple drops of water to the glass. And wow! It takes a peanut nose and makes it more almond-y, but it ratchets all the flavors on the palate up about 3 notches. Absolutely top notch, this bottle. I’m beginning to wonder if the description of Kentucky Tea (water flavored with bourbon instead of tea leaves) on the card wasn’t a hint…

From nose to finish, this is a stack of fluffy pancakes with a giant pad of butter, all drowned in maple syrup. I absolutely LOVE this whiskey

Candied maple bacon is a shockingly accurate descriptor of the nose. Great mouthfeel and bright praline pecans on the finish. This is some excellent whiskey.

Nice oak, good mouthfeel, and some dark dried fruit notes as well. Finish is medium, but evolves nicely. Don’t know that I’d buy again, given the high msrp, but I’m glad I bought this bottle
