First time having the 9 year. I can tell where the 12 year gets it’s backbone, but this one just doesn’t have the same complexity. It’s good, though. Lot of ethanol on the nose, but it’s got some oak and peanut in there, too. Solid mouthfeel with lots of peanut and a decent finish

I love this stuff. Beautifully soft with lots of raisin and black licorice in addition to the rye spice. Not usually a rye person, but this bottle will always have a place on my bar.

Solid scotch - not terribly complex, but thoroughly enjoyable. Glad I got a bottle.

The overwhelming flavor and nose is that of Sun-Maid Raisins, but with a little cherry in there, too. I like it, but it’s definitely not for everyone.

Tastes like balsa wood…not my jam, although if someone poured it for me, I guess I wouldn’t be offended.

Tons of cherries and peanuts. That’s a really good whiskey

Spice-forward and oaky on both the nose and the palate. It’s very nice, but I don’t know that I’d pay a premium for it

Extremely sweet, but delightful cake flavor in there as well. Once that’s been open for a while, that’s going to be something extraordinary.
