Reviewed October 31, 2021Tasting neat in a Glencairn: Nose offers soft butterscotch and brown sugar, with orange oil and cocoa powder. Palate presents soft, rich plum and chocolate, with dry oak spice. Finish is long with subtle yet potent cinnamon and alcohol. -
Tasting neat from a fresh bottle in a Glencairn: Nose offers tons of brown sugar and maple syrup, with some darker molasses notes hiding candied orange and sweet cinnamon. Palate brings sweet leathery oak with dark Sherry fruits balanced by slight alcohol heat. Finish is medium-long and spicy, with wood heat and more cinnamon.

Reviewed October 29, 2021 (edited January 3, 2022)Tasting neat: Nose shows caramel, fig, and apricot jam and oaked vanilla. Palate offers subtle smoke and charred word, with tons of caramel and fudge and orange spice. Finish is long with tingly alcohol heat, more chocolate fudge and vanilla, with hints of wood spice.
