Tastes

Neat of course. My go to scotch was out of stock so i tried this one. Very mild smell, ok on the toung, no bite, little bit of sweet. Smoth and mild going down.

Neat as usual. Sweey smell, not as smooth as i hoped. Bite on the back of the toung. Very warm going down. Not a first choice.

Well, win some lose some... while i really liked the jameson IPA and even higher ranked the Stout, Cold Brew is the lowest rated spirit on my list, ever... I was in a rush, should have read the label to see the brew wasnt referring to beer barrel flavoring like the IPA and Stout, it is referring to coffee. 1st smell is a strong coffee aroma. The taste is also covered up by it, not enhancing like the other two selections i mentioned. Went down smooth with a lot of after taste. Drank neat as usual, might make an ok mixer, i will try it in my morning coffee. Yes, i love coffee and Jameson, just not together. I have a nearly full bottle if someone is interested...

Tried their IPA edition, really liked that, bought another bottle of that and thought i would try the Stout. Very light smelling, you get a hint of the sweetness. Sweet on the tip of the toung, mild on the back. Very smooth, great flavor and slight warmth going down. Definitly will keep both of these on the shelf. Make great gifts. Neat as usual.

Lighter swert smell if that makes sense, strong to the taste, has more of the rye flavor that im not a fan of. Little bite or bitter taste. Goes down warm being 90 proof. Neat as usual.

Light mild aroma, i can pick up some vanilla. Smooth on the front of the toung, little bit warm on the back of tge toung. Can taste the charred barrel as it passes the back. Light and easy going down, party due to the 84 proof. And as always, neat for me! No water, no ice...

Needed a gift and wanted something different, non traditional. So i bought one for myself as well! Nice sweet mild smelling. Smooth on the toung, no bitter or hard bite, nice flavor of the ipa, not at all overbearing. Low warmth going down. Was a good choice.

Voyage 20. Sweet smelling, super sweet on the lips and toung. Smooth, nice barrel flaver with no after taste. Stays warm in the stomach. I will have a good cigar next time i pull the bottle from my shelf! Neat as usual and as it should be.
